Note: we do not service gas appliances.
Our engineers are experienced with many of the UK’s leading appliance manufacturers, including Bosch, NEFF, Siemens, Miele, AEG, LG, Hotpoint, Beko, Hoover and Smeg, along with many other brands covered under manufacturer warranty.

Our dedicated TV and audio workshop has been repairing home entertainment equipment for many years, helping customers keep their favourite products working for longer.
Our engineers diagnose and repair a wide variety of equipment, including: TVs, hi-fi systems, amplifiers, CD players, audio separates and sound systems.
We regularly work on leading brands including Sony, Technics, Samsung (out of warranty) and LG, alongside many other manufacturers.
If your television has developed a picture fault, your audio system has stopped working or you’d simply like an expert opinion before replacing your equipment, our workshop team will be happy to help.
Where possible, we’ll always look to repair rather than replace, giving you honest advice and clear information about your options.

Callout charges
If your product is under warranty:
Providing the product has been purchased from HBH Woolacotts and the fault has not been caused by accidental or physical damage, there will be no charge for a product that is still covered by a warranty.*
*In some cases, if the product is covered by a manufacturer warranty only, the manufacturer’s own service agents must call out to diagnose and repair the faulty product. Our staff can arrange this engineer visit on your behalf, if required.
Charges for products no longer covered by warranty:
• £60 initial call out charge (payable at the time of booking or upon bringing a product into store for repair); which includes up to 1 hour of labour during the initial inspection only (excludes Miele, Liebherr and Fisher & Paykel appliances).
• £30 for any additional labour; either on the same call out or for any return visits; for example, to fit parts which have been ordered. (Excludes Miele, Liebherr and Fisher & Paykel appliances).
• The maximum labour charge payable for a single item repair will be capped at £90 (excluding Miele, Liebherr and Fisher & Paykel appliances).
• £80 initial callout payable at the time of booking for Miele, Liebherr and Fisher & Paykel appliances, which covers up to an hour of labour during the initial visit. £40 for any additional labour either on the same callout or for any return visit, with labour charges capped at a maximum of £120. This higher callout repair cost is due to the more complicated nature of the appliances and the advanced diagnostic equipment required to troubleshoot and repair them.
Any parts required will be chargeable separately. The cost of parts will vary depending on the fault and type of appliance.
Charges for aerial and satellite callouts:
• £60 initial callout charge (payable at the time of booking).
• Parts charged separately.
• Insurance letter: £30. Note: this charge will be waived if a replacement product is purchased from HBH Woolacotts.
All repairs – and any replacement parts fitted in order to complete repair – are guaranteed for 3 months from the date of completion.
What happens if my product is deemed not repairable?
If after paying the initial booking charge your product is deemed not repairable, or beyond economical repair and you purchase a replacement appliance from HBH Woolacotts, we will credit £30 of this charge towards your next purchase.
