FULL-TIME SALES ADVISOR - We are looking for a motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude, loves selling fantastic products and enjoys working as part of a team. Your role will be all about delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding our customer’s expectations. In addition, you will be involved in supporting the management team to achieve store targets.

We pride ourselves on our highly trained and knowledgeable sales staff who are on hand to give you honest, friendly advice and help to find the right product. Therefore ongoing sales and product and training will be key in keeping you up-to-date within this fast moving industry. Past experience in the retail sales environment is preferred though not essential.

We currently have the below vacancy at our Bude Workshop:

Trainee TV & AV Engineer - We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking for a long-term career to be trained as a qualified Workshop TV/ AV Engineer. The successful candidate must demonstrate an interest in and knowledge of repairs as well as electronics and engineering.

Training will be provided by our experienced team of in-house engineers. Once fully qualified duties will include the diagnosis and repair of a wide range of electrical goods including televisions, audio visual equipment, hi-fi, laptops and microwave products.

You must be able to follow detailed instructions and equipment manuals in order to diagnose problems to a component level and provide repair solutions. Teamwork is absolutely key in the role, but you must also be able to work independently once clear direction is provided.

Applicants must be physically fit, as the job does involve heavy lifting and must possess a full UK driving licence as you may be may required to carry out occasional home visits.

This is an ongoing training contract, with opportunity for it to be made permanent based on performance. The job itself entails minimum 40 hour, 5 day week, but includes opportunities for overtime.

This is a training wage with a view to an increase once fully trained and able to work as an independent engineer - we would expect this process to take between 1-2 years depending on the successful candidate's existing knowledge and progress during this time.

There will be a 3 month probation period and a full DBS check will need to be completed prior to successful employment being confirmed.
