A History of NEFF<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

NEFF\u2019s journey began with Carl Neff, a master locksmith, who founded the brand in 1877, creating coal-burning stoves in a small factory with just six workers. From the start, NEFF appliances stood out for their craftsmanship, simplicity, and usability. Carl had a knack for anticipating future trends, which became the foundation of NEFF’s innovative approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Europe’s caf\u00e9 culture boomed during the Belle \u00c9poque, NEFF responded with commercial ovens, catering to the continent\u2019s growing demand for baked goods. The early 20th century brought NEFF\u2019s gas-fired ovens, which replaced coal stoves, and by 1919, the first patented gas oven for patisseries hit the market. Even during the post-war period, NEFF pushed forward, introducing a groundbreaking oven with dual heating compartments, revolutionising home cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the leadership of Carl’s son, Alfred Neff, the company thrived during Germany’s economic recovery. NEFF expanded into new areas like refrigeration and washing machines, while also continuing to innovate in cooking technology. By the 1950s, NEFF introduced induction hobs, microwaves, and thermostats as standard, making kitchens more efficient and modern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 1960s, NEFF pioneered built-in appliances, giving kitchens a sleek, space-saving design. The launch of the Domino modular cooker and the CircoTherm\u00ae oven in the 1970s allowed cooks more flexibility without sacrificing flavour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
