In House Service Department
Unfortunately it is a fact of life that a small percentage of electrical products will go faulty within their warranty period. Here at HBH Woolacotts we pride ourselves on our ability to provide an outstanding level of customer service before and after the sale, to help achieve this we have a fully trained team of service engineers to service and repair a large range of electrical products should a fault develop.
Not only are we able to repair most electrical products but we will do our best to minimise the inconvenience to you by providing you with a loan appliance until your original item has been repaired and returned, providing the product was purchased from us and is covered by a warranty.
Book a Service Visit
If an item of yours has developed a fault and you require an engineer or specialist to look at the product, please contact one of our branches and our staff will be more than happy to take your details and arrange an engineer call out with you.
- Large appliances (dishwashers, washing machines etc)- an engineer will call out to your house and diagnose the fault on-site, we will then order any parts required and the engineer will return to fit them at a later date.
- Other appliances (televisions, vacuum cleaners, sound systems etc)- a member of our delivery team will call out to your house to collect the faulty item and either return it to our workshop for diagnosis and repair, or fix the fault on-site. You can also bring the item into your nearest HBH Woolacotts store if preferred.
Charges
- If your product is under warranty
- There is no charge for a product that is still covered by a warranty*
- Products no longer covered by warranty
- £40.00 call out charge - this includes the first hour of labour**
- £40.00 per hour of labour
- Plus cost of any parts required for the repair of the faulty item***
*In some cases, if the product is covered by a manufacturer warranty only, the manufacturer's own service department must call out to diagnose and repair the faulty product. Our staff members are still happy to arrange this free engineer visit on your behalf if required.
**If the product is deemed irreparable after the initial call out and you continue to purchase a new appliance from HBH Woolacotts then this call out charge is waived.
***Please note that the cost of parts may vary according to the fault or the appliance.
